Driver's Training Courses

The Ottawa-Carleton Safety Council has been training new riders for over 30 years!!

* Most insurance companies will offer a significant discount for completing the course
* Completing the course will eliminate the need to take the Ministry of Transport M1 OR M2 exit tests.
* Mororcycles provided

Three courses are available

1. Basic course, 22 hours of class room and "on bike" training to cover the basics. Completing the course will exempt you from the Ministry M-1 Exit Test.
2. M-1 Exit Course involves a riding skills evaluation and upgrade program. Complete the combination of class room, parking lot and "on road" test conducted by the instructors for your full "M" Licence
3. Experienced Rider Course, with the chance for those riders with some experience to improve their skills while riding their own motorcycles.
